By the resort's account it is minutes from the central business district and from the domestic and international airports. Crown Perth lists a 24-hour casino next to three hotels on the same site, Crown Towers, Crown Metropol and Crown Promenade, with 1,188 rooms between them, as well as 33 restaurants and bars, a spa, a convention centre and a theatre with 2,300 seats.1, 2

Before you go

Opening hours

The casino is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, with the exception of three days per year. It is closed from 3 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Christmas Day and from 3 a.m. to 12 noon on Good Friday and on ANZAC Day.1

Admission

Large bags, briefcases, suitcases, laptops and similar items are not permitted in the casino, and security staff may ask to inspect a bag or package. Crown Perth may refuse entry or service to guests who do not meet its dress standards.3

Dress code

The minimum dress standard is neat casual, and footwear is required at all times. Clothing listed as unacceptable includes untidy, torn or soiled clothing, gym activewear and running shorts, manual work clothing and high visibility wear, sleepwear, swimwear and beach clothing, rubber thongs, Ugg boots and work boots, and hats, caps and beanies. Fashionably ripped jeans are accepted where the torn fabric is not excessive.1, 3

Licence and regulation

The state government refers to the venue as the Perth Casino. It is supervised by the Gaming and Wagering Commission of Western Australia, and the suitability of its licensee is assessed under the state's Casino Control Act 1984. In an announcement first published on 8 July 2025, the state government said the Racing and Gaming Minister had found Crown Perth a suitable licensee to operate the Perth Casino, on the Commission's recommendation.4
