Things to do during the day

• The Hollywood Beach Broadwalk runs from Jefferson Street to Sheridan Street, over two and a half miles (about 4 km), and ends at Hollywood North Beach Park. The visitors bureau describes it as a brick-paved promenade with outdoor cafes and shops, used for jogging, cycling and strolling.¹
• On the water, visitors can rent a pontoon boat, with paddleboards and kayaks as extras, or book a fishing trip.¹
• The Dog Beach at Hollywood Beach admits dogs with a day pass.¹
• At the Seminole Hard Rock resort, The Oculus is a 35-foot (about 11 metre) waterfall at the entrance of The Guitar Hotel, with projections and music every 20 minutes.²

Evening ideas

• The Guitar Hotel Light Show plays on the LED lights built into the building. It is listed at 8 p.m. from Sunday to Thursday and at 8 p.m. and 8.30 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.³
• Hard Rock Live at the Seminole Hard Rock resort is a venue for 7,000 people that hosts performances by headline entertainers, award shows and sporting events.^{4, 5}
• Concerts are held at the Hollywood Beach Theater, and the beach has its own calendar of festivals, among them a holiday light parade on the Broadwalk in December.¹

Restaurants and bars

• On Hollywood Beach the visitors bureau names Ocean Alley Restaurant, a casual Broadwalk place for pasta and seafood, and Billy's Stone Crab Restaurant for fine dining.¹
• The Seminole Hard Rock resort counts more than 15 restaurants, all smoke-free, among them Council Oak Steaks & Seafood and the 24-hour Rise Kitchen & Deli.^{6, 7}
