Its operator, Grupo Solverde, presents hotel and casino as one complex, and the Portuguese gaming regulator lists the venue as Casino de Chaves (Hotel Casino Chaves). The gaming room is spread over two floors linked by escalators. The casino also has a cultural programme of shows by Portuguese and international artists, the Sala Península, a hall for up to 750 people that serves regional cuisine, and three bars, one of them in the entrance hall.1, 3, 4, 5

Licence and regulation

The casino belongs to the Vidago-Pedras Salgadas gaming zone, one of ten gaming zones in Portugal, and is run under a state concession by Solverde - Sociedade de Investimentos Turísticos da Costa Verde, S.A.
