Casino in Baden-Baden, Germany

Casino Baden-Baden occupies rooms in the Kurhaus, which the German National Tourist Board describes as a landmark of the town. According to the casino, the rooms were decorated in the 19th century on the model of French royal palaces. Visitors can see the halls on a guided tour, which is booked with the casino by email or phone.4, 5, 7
The casino opens at 11 a.m. every day. It closes at 2 a.m., and at 3 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. In 2026 the casino is closed on Good Friday, 1 November, 15 November, 18 November, 22 November and on 24 and 25 December.2
Admission to the classic rooms costs 5 euros per person.2
Entry is possible only from the age of 21, under the gambling law of the state of Baden-Württemberg. A valid passport or identity card must be shown in the original. A photo of the document on a phone is not accepted.3
For the classic rooms the casino asks men to wear a suit jacket or a tuxedo, and says that a shirt and tie are desired. Visitors who arrive without a jacket can borrow one for a fee of 10 euros. Outside the classic rooms, smart casual clothing is asked for.3
