Estoril: Hotels & Evening Entertainment

Estoril is a seaside town in the municipality of Cascais, about 30 minutes by train from Lisbon. Its casino has operated since 1931 and stands near Tamariz beach and the railway station. During the Second World War it was a refuge for exiled royal families and a stage for espionage by both sides of the conflict, a period that Visit Cascais retraces on a walking route.
