ARIA Resort & Casino

Overview

ARIA Resort & Casino is a hotel of MGM Resorts International at 3730 Las Vegas Boulevard South, on the Las Vegas Strip, where Las Vegas Boulevard meets Harmon. It opened on 16 December 2009, was designed by the firm Pelli Clarke Pelli and has 4,002 guest rooms, 549 of them Tower Suites and Sky Suites. The casino is part of the hotel itself: the resort's fact sheet lists the casino among the hotel's facilities and describes Gem Bar, one of the hotel's bars, as standing at the heart of the casino floor. The Nevada Gaming Control Board lists the gaming location as Aria Resort & Casino, and the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority files the hotel under casino resorts. Next door is Vdara Hotel & Spa, which the same fact sheet calls a non-gaming hotel.^{1, 2, 4, 5}

• The casino is inside the hotel property, with the hotel's Gem Bar at the heart of the casino floor.¹

• The Spa & Salon at ARIA spreads over two levels and 80,000 square feet (about 7,400 square metres), with a salt room, Japanese Ganbanyoku stone beds and a balcony with an infinity-edge pool.¹

• The ARIA Fine Art Collection is displayed in the public areas. In the lobby hangs Silver River by Maya Lin, an 84-foot (about 26-metre) silver cast of the Colorado River.¹

• The pool deck of 215,000 square feet (about 20,000 square metres) has three main pools and 35 cabanas.¹

• The hotel tower, the convention center and the theater hold LEED Gold certification from the U.S. Green Building Council.¹

Rooms

The hotel counts 4,002 guest rooms. They include 258 Tower Suites, which come with a private check-in lounge, and ARIA Sky Suites, a hotel within the hotel with 291 one- and two-bedroom suites on floors 25 to 56 of the South Tower, its own entrance, elevators, lounge and pool. Rooms have floor-to-ceiling windows, a soaking tub with a separate shower and a tablet that controls the lighting, temperature and curtains and takes in-room dining orders.¹

Dining

The fact sheet lists ten restaurants under elevated dining: the French brasserie BARDOT, Blossom for Chinese cooking, Carbone, CATCH, the Taiwanese dumpling and noodle house Din Tai Fung, the Indian restaurant Gymkhana, Javier's for Mexican cuisine, Jean Georges Steakhouse, the Thai restaurant Lemongrass and Salt & Ivy for breakfast and lunch. Casual options include ARIA Patisserie and the Proper Eats Food Hall. Bars include the Lobby Bar and Lift Bar; they and the JEWEL Nightclub are for guests aged 21 and over.¹

Wellness and leisure

The Spa & Salon at ARIA has 57 treatment rooms and three spa suites, separate men's and women's areas with eucalyptus steam rooms and redwood saunas, a salon and a barber shop. The Fitness Center of 6,000 square feet (about 560 square metres) overlooks the pool and runs fitness classes. Outside are three main pools; the Sky Pool is reserved for guests of the Sky Suites, and LIQUID Pool Lounge is for adults only.¹

Getting there

The visitors authority's listing places ARIA 2 miles (about 3.2 km) from Harry Reid International Airport, at Las Vegas Boulevard and Harmon. The free ARIA Express Tram has three stops and runs daily from 8 a.m. to 2 a.m. The Deuce bus stops at nearly every resort on the Strip, and taxis pick up at hotel taxi lines rather than on the street.^{4, 6, 7}

Good to know

• The visitors authority's listing gives check-in at 3 p.m. and check-out at 11 a.m. It is worth confirming the times with the hotel when booking.⁴

• Guests must be 21 to check in, by the same listing.⁴

• The listing shows a resort fee of 55 US dollars.⁴

• The 2026 fact sheet marks ALIBI Lounge as closed for renovation.¹
