The operator's fact sheet counts 2,000 hotel rooms and suites as of 1 July 2024. It describes MGM Tower at Borgata separately, with 757 guest rooms, water views and two indoor and two outdoor heated pools; the sheet does not say whether those rooms are part of the 2,000.¹

Dining

The fact sheet lists 14 dining options. Old Homestead Steak House is the Atlantic City branch of a New York steakhouse, Angeline by Michael Symon serves Italian food, and B Prime Steakhouse and American Bar & Grille are among the other restaurants. Casual choices include The Metropolitan, Noodles of the World, Borgata Buffet and The Food Hall Eatery. Among the bars, the Lobby Bar has live piano, Gypsy Bar has live music every night, and the Borgata Beer Garden opens in spring and summer. Opening details may have changed since the sheet was issued in July 2024.¹

Wellness and leisure

Spa Toccare, in the Borgata tower, offers massages, body treatments, facials and treatments for couples. The Pump Room fitness centre is open to guests aged 18 and over. The resort has five pools, including an indoor pool with a splash pad and an outdoor pool with daybeds and cabanas, and MGM Tower adds indoor and outdoor pools of its own. A salon and a barbershop are also on site.¹

Getting there

By the operator's account Borgata is 120 miles (about 193 km) south of New York City, 60 miles (about 97 km) east of Philadelphia and 20 minutes from Atlantic City International Airport. Visit Atlantic City lists NJ Transit trains and buses, the airport and the city's jitneys as ways of reaching and getting around Atlantic City.^{1, 6}
