Deauville: Hotels & Evening Entertainment

Deauville is a seaside resort on the Normandy coast, laid out in the 1860s on drained marshland. It is known for a two-kilometre sandy beach with colourful parasols, the wooden boardwalk called Les Planches, two racecourses and the American Film Festival held each September. The casino has stood on the seafront since 1912.
